Those of you who know Trevor know that he is a man full of life and full of love. His vibrant spirit is immediately recognized and his charisma captivates people within moments of meeting him.
On Friday May 28th, 2010, Trevor was involved in a serious accident while on vacation in Jamaica with his girlfriend Jenn. Trevor suffered a traumatic head and neck injury while out in the ocean, resulting in a near drowning. Trevor was initially treated in Jamaica briefly and then transported to southern Florida. After nearly a month of treatment in Florida, Trevor made the move to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in northern New Jersey, one of the nation's leading rehabilitation facilities. Here, Trevor is working with an aggressive team of specialists and continues to fight each day, showing both increased determination, as well as improvements in his condition as time passes. The WHAT WOULD TREVOR DO FUND is a fund set up by friends to help exclusively alleviate some of the medical and non medical costs that TREVOR will face. With a network of friends and family that spans the globe, our prayers and positivity can only speed the rapid recovery of this indomitable young man.

The story behind the name:
As news of Trevor's accident spread, a friend of Trevor's, a NYC school teacher who operates a motivational text messaging service, sent out a text to his subscribers which is copied below. "The Text" as it is known to its members, is a humorous, insightful reminder each day to live life to the fullest and maximize your potential in all ways possible. The day after receiving the news of the accident, the writer reflected on Trevor's own passion for life with the following message:
"Some of you may have heard about a friend of 'The Text' being in a bad accident & I was thinking do I want to create a text about it? Hell yea! P.O.W.!(Pearl of Wisdom) - This man embodies "The Text". He lives how most dream. Some say in bad situations to think positive, but 'The Text' isn't about thinking, its about doing. Along with thinking positive, I'm acting positive. This friend is all about living life to the fullest. He gets his power off living. Instead of clapping my hands to create power, I'm doing my best to live life the hardest. Every time I rock and have positive actions I feel that energy will be directed to his speedy recovery. When I tell him this he will agree. Some people have life live them and some live life. My friend lives life to the max and inspires others to do the same. So today ask yourself WWTD? What will Trevor do? The answer to this question is always the same: Whatever is more awesome! Create some positivity today. Get well Trev!" -The Text
This message closes with the question "What will Trevor do?" and the answer of hope, "Whatever is more awesome!" In any scenario, Trevor would be expected to choose the most awesome option available. This is ingrained in his personality and character. In discussing the creation of this fund and what name to give it, the message in our friend's text was brought up. Those involved all agreed that if the situation was reversed for anyone one of us, Trev would do anything and everything he could to help. With that, the appropriate name for the fund was obvious.
